Knowledge
- Describe the basic principles underpinning psychopedagogical assessments and interventions in formal and non-formal educational contexts.
- Integrate knowledge that serves as a basis to support the theoretical frameworks that best fit in the resolution of psychopedagogical problems derived from social and individual needs, both in professional and research contexts.
- Relate knowledge and face the complexity of formulating judgments based on information that, being incomplete or limited, includes reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities linked to the exercise of the psychopedagogical profession.
- Identify the social, economic and environmental implications of academic-professional activities in the field of self-knowledge.
Skills
- Analyze the data obtained in the psychopedagogical evaluation using the means and resources necessary to issue pertinent reports.
- Apply the knowledge acquired and ones own problem-solving skills in diverse and/or little-known psychopedagogical environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts.
- Examine the organization and functioning of educational institutions in order to coordinate psychopedagogical guidance and intervention actions.
- Practice skills and techniques for advising and guiding educational agents, families and communities.
- Develop attitudes of participation and collaboration that encourage networking and teamwork.
- Know how to communicate orally and in writing the results of their own work, their conclusions and the knowledge and ultimate reasons that support them to specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear, concise and unambiguous way.
Competences
- Determine the psychopedagogical needs of individuals, groups and organizations based on the application of different methodologies, instruments and evaluation techniques.
- Advise and guide education professionals, taking into account measures to address diversity in the organization, design, implementation and evaluation of teaching and learning processes.
- Manage and energize educational teams with the aim of providing an adequate response to the psychopedagogical needs of students, groups and organizations
- Organize psychopedagogical services that allow collaboration between formal and/or non-formal educational centers, as well as different organizations and resources in the environment.
- Generate innovative and competitive proposals in professional activity, introducing changes in psychopedagogical methods and processes according to social needs and demands.
- To assess how stereotypes and gender roles affect the professional practice of psychopedagogy for decision-making.
