Today, society demand lifelong learning for professionals in the education sector to enable them to revitalise their socioeducational action, re-thinking and reflecting on their practice, within a school and social model which is moving towards a fairer, more democratic and equal society. in other words, education for all. See from this angle, there is a need to train education professionals to offer them the tools and strategies to make knowledge and information accessible to all, including those people with specific support needs and especially those related to disability within the framework of an inclusive education system.
This Master's degree aims to train people interested in knowing the principles of inclusive education so that they are able to analyse the learning barriers and participation that some people may find in different contexts throughout their lives. To train professionals who are competent in the use of multiple methodological strategies to manage the resources available, generate networking spaces and collaboration with other professionals, the families and the community.
The Master's degree consists of 7 theory and practice modules, taught using a system of blended learning, 1 module of supervised work placement in a centre and the final Master's dissertation.
The Master's degree will enable students to 1) obtain the professional profile of Attention to Diversity for Teachers in Pre-school, Primary and Secondary Education in accordance with resolution ENS/1128/2016; (2) gain access to the labour market in the specialist area of Therapeutic Pedagogy for Primary Education Teachers during the period of the work placement in accordance with Resolution ENS/113/2012 of 25 January 25 and (3) gain access to social and educational institutions linked to the development of processes of inclusion working with people with specific support needs.

Internships

UAB masters and graduate diplomas may include or facilitate external academic internships in companies or institutions in order to help the student to achieve a level of expertise that facilitates the insertion or promotion in the workplace.

For this study programme non-curricular (optional) internships are possible:

    As a UAB student, you have access to the University occupation portal, the Occupability Service, through which you can participate in selection processes for non-curricular practices as well as getting a contract. In both cases, you need to sign up to the Nexus application.
