PhD in Educational Psychology
Introduction
Social, economic and cultural changes in recent decades in all developed societies have meant the appearance of new educational scenarios and contexts, and with them new collective spaces for psychoeducational research and intervention. This means there are increasingly large numbers of researchers and professional psychologists researching and intervening in educational scenarios outside the traditional environments of the family and school education and who work with groups not exclusively made up of children and young people.
Within that framework, the Postgraduate in Educational Psychology, made up of the Interuniversity Master's degree in Educational Psychology -MIPE- and the Interuniversity PhD in Educational Psychology -DIPE-, is a joint initiative of four of the universities of Catalonia -University of Barcelona, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, University of Girona and Ramon Llull University - aimed at students and professionals who want to acquire a solid theoretical and practical training in the contribution of psychological knowledge to educational theory and practice.
